Typically speaking costs for a new build can be anything from 2,300-3,500 per sq/m. For refurbishing an old house/existing build this can be from 1,200-1900 per sq/m to bring back to modern standards.

Please bare in mind these costs can vary vastly when we look at refurbishing a 1970's 3 bedroom semi-d versus a period house which may need to comply with preservation orders.
