Is divided into 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Initial Consultation

At Buildit.ie, we specialize in full home renovations, which may include extensions, attic conversions, bathroom refits, kitchen renovations, deep retrofits. We have an inhouse architectural technician that can design your home to your specifications

We begin with a simple project questionnaire to assess whether your project aligns with our services and team expertise.

If it’s a good fit, we then schedule a home visit with our pre-construction manager to discuss the project in detail, establish a brief, and identify any potential planning or structural issues. Afterward, we provide project estimates for each component.

If the estimates align with your budget, we proceed to the design stage, our design fees typically ranging from €1,500 to €2,500, depending on complexity. Our initial home consultation fee is €250,.

Step 2: Design

Once the design fee is confirmed, we will schedule a survey of your property to create a set of existing floor plans. From there, we’ll collaborate with you to finalize any internal layout changes and general arrangements (concept design).

Following that, we will proceed with the technical drawings, including electrical layouts, heating and plumbing specifications, home renewable options, finishes, and more (detailed design). Once the detailed design is complete, we’ll provide a comprehensive cost breakdown based on the drawings. If the project exceeds budget, we can explore value engineering options to help align the costs with your financial goals.

Step 3: Construction

Once project costs and scope are confirmed, we’ll agree on a start date and set you up on our client portal, where all project documents will be easily accessible.

We’ll then place orders for long-lead items and proceed with mobilization and site setup. A dedicated Project Manager and Administrator will guide your project from start to finish. Upon completion, we’ll conduct a final walkthrough, resolve any issues, and upload warranties and certificates to your portal.
